Our Operations
Island Energy Services supplies premier petroleum products for the State of Hawaiʻi via two distinct business lines – Logistics and Retail Operations.
As logistical experts in the local energy industry, Island Energy Services’ terminal and logistics operations are anchored by its large-scale Kapolei import terminal. Through two 23-mile pipelines that connect the Kapolei Terminal to the Honolulu Marine Terminal at Pier 30, Island Energy Services uses multi-mode transportation resources to move refined products and fuels on all major Hawaiian Islands to serve its utility, aviation, retail, and industrial customers through its network of key storage and distribution assets and additional related logistics infrastructure throughout the state.
Jet fuel is also transported to the Hawaiʻi Fueling Facilities Corporation airline consortium via this distribution system.
Marine Terminal operations include a mooring facility offshore of the island of O‘ahu that connects to the Kapolei Terminal’s storage tanks by two subsea lines. Due to the offshore location, the mooring facility is shielded from severe weather and stronger ocean currents.
To serve the neighbor islands, Island Energy Services owns terminal facilities and pipelines strategically located in the following locations: Port Allen, Kauaʻi, Kahului, Maui, and Hilo, Hawaiʻi Island.
Island Energy Services’ Retail Operations is comprised of nearly 60 Texaco®-branded service stations on all major Hawaiian Islands. Island Energy Services is the licensee of the Texaco ® brand in the state of Hawaiʻi and supplies quality gasoline to its customers containing the unbeatable additive Techron ® to its retail network.
Texaco ® is a registered trademark of Chevron Intellectual Property LLC used under license by IES.
